Trick or Treat Studios and The Steve Miller Band Bring Back a 41 Year Old Rock N Roll Icon - The Joker Mask!
Released in 1973, The Joker was the eighth album by Steve Miller Band. The artwork features Steve Miller wearing a green robot mask, which has become one of two mascots for the band and is considered among the greatest album covers ever produced. In fact, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked The Joker as one of the "Top 100 Album Covers Of All Time".
In honor of the 41-year anniversary of the album, Steve Miller contacted Trick or Treat Studios to reproduce the famous Joker Mask icon.
Sculpted by Erich Lubatti, The Joker now lives again and is currently being sold at venues across the world as part of Steve’s summer tour with Journey.

World Famous Sculptor & Motion Picture Director William Malone Joins Trick or Treat Studios!
Trick or Treat Studios is honored to have one of our all time favorite Halloween Mask Sculptors and Motion Picture Director, William Malone, on our Sculpting Team!
Since the age of 14, Malone has been making movies and designing monster masks for Halloween.
A legend in the mask making world, Malone was responsible for designing and sculpting the mask used by the Horror Icon, Michael Myers, in John Carpenter's Classic, Halloween (1978).
After attending classes at UCLA to study directing Malone wrote and directed the sci-fi horror shocker Scared to Death (1980). In 1984, Malone directed Creature (1985), which was nominated for a Saturn Award at the 1985 Academy of Science Fiction and Horror films.
Malone spent the next 14 years directing episodes for the TV series Freddy's Nightmares, the HBO series Tales From the Crypt, Sleepwalkers and a made for TV movie W.I.E.R.D. World. In 1999, Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis hired Malone to direct the remake of House on Haunted Hill and in 2002, Malone directed his own feature Feardotcom. In 2005 Malone was invited by Showtime Masters of Horror creator Mick Garris to direct an episode for the series titled The Fair Haired Child.
Needless to say, Trick or Treat Studios is honored to have Malone on our sculpting team!
Peter Infelise Joins Trick or Treat Studios!
Trick or Treat Studios is proud to announce that Peter Infelise has joined Trick or Treat Studios sculpting team.
Peter is a Chicago based Independent Mask Maker and founder of the Devil’s Workshop.
Peter's amazing masks have appeared in issues of Playboy Magazine, Kitbuilder Magazine, Headhunters Quarterly and have been featured at major conventions including Wonderfest, Maskfest & Monsterpalooza.
Working as an instructor at the Illinois Institute of Art since 2001, Pete’s other professional artistic endeavors include Web and Motion Design.
Pete earned his MFA at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he created the Illinois Route 66 Road Trip website which was honored with a number of national and international design awards.
We are really excited to have Peter as one of the newest members of Trick or Treat Studios sculpting team.

The Mask Doctor, Kelly Mann, Joins Trick or Treat Studios!
Trick or Treat Studios is thrilled to have Kelly Mann on the sculpting team.
Kelly is an Emmy Award winner who has freelanced as a mask maker, makeup artist, and special effects artist, working on many films, TV shows, theater, and print ads for many leading producers, directors, actors and major film, Television, and entertainment companies, including Universal Studios, New Line pictures, Lorimar television, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Studios, Buena Vista Pictures, and Walt Disney Imagineering.
As The Mask Doctor,Kelly has become "the" world-renowned mask repair expert, repairing collectible masks and movie props, as well as giving advice for storage and longevity of masks.
Recently, Kelly has put his years of makeup savvy into conducting makeup seminars, where he demonstrates the proper use of makeup materials to create characters for both theatre and film, as well as makeup application and proper handling in a learning environment.
Kelly is pleased and excited to be creating new and original mask designs for Trick-Or-Treat Studios.
Trick or Treat Studios Reveals the Origin of Dr. Deadly with a Mini Comic Book!
We have a special announcement for all of you Dr. Deadly fans! Our officially licensed Dr. Deadly mask will include an original mini comic book featuring the origin of Dr. Deadly. The comic was written and drawn by Marvel Comics legend Jim Craig.
The comic book will be in a plastic slip cover and will be attached to the mask via the hang tag.

Devil’s Rejects Star – Bill Moseley Visits Trick or Treat Studios!
We had a very nice surprise at Monsterpalooza when the great Bill Moseley stopped by to pickup a Gruesome mask and say hello to the gang at Trick or Treat Studios.
Bill is a big fan of Eric Pigors’ Toxictoons and was thrilled to see that we were offering a number of Toxictoons masks. Bill picked up a Gruesome and took a few pics with Chris.

2011 was a busy year for Trick or Treat Studios. We added 16 new designs! And we saved one of the best for last.
Direct from the madness of Johnny Ace Studios come the Surf Kook. The Surf Kook, along with his partner in crime, Franken Fink, comes directly from the pages of Johnny Ace Studios art books and into the third dimension. Inspired by Big Daddy Roth and his amazing Rat Fink, the Surf Kook embodies the style that has made Johnny Ace and Kail Verra famous among fans.
We are thrilled to be offering these amazing designs and look for us to expand our Johnny Ace collection in 2012. And if we are lucky, we might get a sculpt or two from Ace himself. Keep your fingers crossed!

John Wrightson Delivers An Amazing Vampire For 2011 - Night Creature!
In keeping with our tradition of bringing back the retro look and feel from the golden age of mask making, John Wirghtson brings us a true classic version of a vampire with a modern twist, Night Creature. Erich Lubatti Turns In Another Frightful Face Mask For 2011 - Belinda!
Inspired by one of our all time favorite face masks from Knott's Berry Farm's Halloween Haunt,Belinda comes to Trick or Treat Studios.
Erich originally sculpted Belinda for the amazing Scare Actor Jill. With her straw hat, dirty dress, stuffed rabbit and her mask, Jill is hands down the creepiest Scare Actor in the park. With Jill's mask in mind, Erich sculpted a perfectly inspired face mask for us.

Neal Kennemore Joins Trick or Treat Studios and Debuts With Ol' Scratch!
We are absolutely giddy to have the amazing Neal Kennemore be part of our sculpting team!
Neal is a third generation sculptor working in the Film, TV, Halloween and Collectable industry. Born in Burbank, CA at Saint Joseph Hospital, right across the street from Disney Animation Studios.
Neal’s bloodline in sculpting started with his Grandfather, the legendary Disney and Creature FX Sculptor and Designer Michael McCracken. Followed by his Father, the well known Creature FX Sculptor Jeff Kennemore, whose sculpting work was featured in John Carpenter's The Thing, Twilight Zone: The Movie, and Poltergeist II, just to name a few.
Neal has built an excellent resume in his own right, which includes working in films and television for projects like Beowulf, The Flock, Epic Movie, Frankenstein vs. the Creature from Blood Cove, Night Stalker and TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
And like his buddy John Wrightson,we also love Neal for the incredible work he does at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights each year!
Neal's first mask, Ol' Scratch will be making it's debut at The Halloween & Party Expo in Houston, TX, and will be available for preorder at the end of January, so check back soon!

Yes we are proud to say that we are long time fans of the Howard Stern Show, well at least Eric Pigors and Chris Zephro are, I’d have to ask Justin and the other guys.
Richard Christy is a big Toxic Toons fan so we decided to send him Gruesome to see what he thought. Well needless to say, he loved the mask and he sent us these great pictures of his partner in crime, Sal, fooling around with Gruesome and the Gary mask.

Trick or Treat Studios is happy to announce that we teamed up Michael T. Gilbert to make a mask based on the worlds greatest monster fighter, Mr. Monster!
Originally a Canadian character from the 1940's with only a handful of appearances to his name. Michael T. Gilbert came across him in the 1970's and in 1984 revived the concept. Since his return, Mr. Monster has appeared in comic books published by Dark Horse, Eclipse, and Tundra. Armed only with a dark sense of humor and the biggest guns he can carry, Mr. Monster has been terrorizing creatures of all shapes and sizes.
We think Mr. Monster is going to make an amazing costume and will go well in our quest to "Bring Back Halloween" in the vintage style that we loved so much as kids.

Appalling to parent groups in the 1970's, Dr. Deadly and his wares were aggressively protested and ultimately banned from store shelves nationwide. Decades later, the devious doctor and his deranged dungeon have been raised from the dead. And now, Trick or Treat Studios will bring fans a first-ever mask of the infamous Dr. Deadly!

Eric Lubattidelivered three amazing paint masters for the Mummy. Faced with the decision of which one to release, we decided to go with two versions. One is more of a traditional looking Egyptian Mummy that would come straight out of a dry Tomb in Egypt, while the other looks like a true magical Mummy that came right off the pages of an EC Comics, Tales From The Crypt story. We think that both Mummies will appeal to Mask Lovers and Haunter alike.

We are pleased to announce the addition of David Hartman to our Design Team.
Trick or Treat Studios is now the exclusive mask maker for the characters of Sideshow Monkey, a unique line of Zombies, Werewolves and Creatures of the Macabre.
Look for Nail Mouth, sculpted by Justin Mabry, to be available for order soon and other Sideshow creations to join our line of Scary Halloween Masks before Halloween 2010.

New ToxicToons Mask - Toxic Waste Zombie
Uncle Eric Pigors has been working very hard on our latest creation and just delivered the concept drawings for the next mask in our ToxicToons Collection. Joining Gruesome will be the Toxic Waste Zombie!
This amazing creation will be sculpted by Justin Mabry and will be available soon, so check back often for progress pictures.
Scary Halloween Masks Blog Now Live!
All of us here at Trick or Treat Studios started as mask collectors long before we decided to start the company. We all share a true love for the hobby and with that love comes many great stories. As a result, we decided to start a Blogsite to write about buying, selling, collecting and appreciation of Scary Halloween Masks.

With everything going on in the social networks, we figured it was time for us to join the scene as well, so make sure to check us out on Facebook and join our Fan Page.
In the photo album section you will see tons of pictures of each of the masks, including the actual clay sculptures.
